Chief of Hospital/President/CEO, Ms. Cyd Acosta Borromeo, MBA
Ms. Cyd is the Chief of Hospital/President/CEO who is responsible for building and developing Mizmor Kaf Gimmel Hospital according to the Lord God the Healer’s commission to build a hospital in the Philippines. She leads the Board and a team of professionals to make God’s vision a reality from the planning, design, and construction process of this beautiful healing architecture, intelligent, green, and state-of-the art hospital. The cross-inspired hospital is a testimony of God’s love, character, and grace for He cares for us and provides all our needs like a Good Shepherd. As a top administrator, Ms. Cyd is responsible for developing a hospital that works efficiently by finding a balance in managing day-to-day operations while leading strategic development initiatives required to achieve its mission and long-term success.
Ms.Cyd has over thirty years of business, operational, financial, accounting, information systems, and audit experience in the Philippines, South Korea, Germany, and the United States of America (USA). After college graduation, Ms. Cyd worked for six years as an external auditor for SyCip, Gorres, Velayo and Company performing financial, operational, and information systems audit with multinational companies in Manila, Philippines and Seoul, South Korea. Her last work experience was an internal auditor for United Services Automobile Association (USAA), a multi-billion-dollar financial services company in San Antonio, Texas, USA for over sixteen years from 1998 to 2015.
Ms. Cyd completed Bachelor of Science in Commerce (BSC) Accounting degree from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City as Cum Laude. She also completed the Master's in Business Administration (MBA) Management degree from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) in San Antonio, Texas.
Ms. Cyd is a recipient of the prestigious Honorary Yellow Rose of Texas in 2018. While working as an auditor, she was involved as a member of several professional organizations (Institute of Internal Auditors, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) and rendered volunteer services serving as officer, board member, and president of the San Antonio Institute of Internal Auditors from 2008 to 2014. She is also a lifetime member of the Organization of Filipinos in Texas (OFT) and served in different volunteer positions including serving as the president from 2013 to 2016.
Chief of Clinics/Dr. Johann Hugo, M.D., FPBA
Dr. Johann Aranton Hugo, M.D., FPBA, is the Chief of Clinics for Mizmor Kaf Gimmel Hospital. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Hugo has over twenty plus years of medical experience. He is an active staff and visiting staff at different tertiary hospitals in Cebu City. He was also a former member of the medical faculty of Gullas College of Medicine.
Dr. Hugo completed Bachelor of Science in Biology from Velez College in Cebu City. He also completed medical school from Gullas College of Medicine in 1994. He completed his residency at Perpetual Succour Hospital.
Dr. Hugo's board certifications include: Diplomate Philippine Board of Anesthesiology and Fellow Philippine Board of Anesthesiology.
